How To: Use Cathay Pacific's popup&go Student Fares Even If You're Not A Student


Cathay Pacific's popup&go fares are one of the best air ticket prices I've seen in a while, with the exception of a low, low 25% accrual Asia Miles rate.

The deal though, is simply for the students of the following schools, with staff checking your Student ID at checkin:

But here's the catch: What if you're not a student and don't have a student ID card? Simply buy a ticket on CX's popup&go website.

At Hong Kong International Airport, whatever you do, DO NOT check in at the counter. Use online check-in before you get to the airport and simply only have carry on luggage as they will still check for self-check in bag drop counter. The other option is to use the self- check-in kiosks located in aisle B.
